After being tired of waiting for others to advocate for her and struggling to understand the inner workings of the Union, Kedren decided to run for AEA Eastern Region Principal Delegate and was elected! She will be serving in this position for the next TWO YEARS for the union's Inaugural National Convention.
Born in Washington, D.C., and a Maryland native, Kedren is an actor and singer currently based in New York City. She grew up passionately playing sports and singing, but it wasn't until her last semester of undergrad that she discovered she wanted to pursue a career in the Theatre.
Kedren earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Marlyand, after attending the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and studying abroad with the program Semester at Sea. In her last semester at college, she auditioned for a musical theatre workshop, got in, and hasn't looked back since!
While in school and after graduating, Kedren worked with children and young adults with special needs, primarily with Autism Spectrum Disorders, as an in-home therapist and a teaching assistant in the classroom. She absolutely loves working with kids and continues to engage with youth whenever possible.
Since beginning her professional career in 2012, Kedren has appeared both on and off the stage in shows such as Law & Order: SVU, The Tempest, Evita, Richard III, Hair, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Roe, and NBC's Manifest.
In 2018, Kedren graduated with her MFA from the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training!
She loves to travel and dance and does Acting and Performance Coaching in her spare time, which she greatly enjoys.
Kedren is SAG-eligible and a proud member of AEA.
